Standardized testing is over and we are now allowing visitors for lunch once again.  Please remember to bring your Driver's License when you come.

The Spring Talent Show is Thursday, May 10.

Field Day is Friday, May 11 - Parents and Guardians are allowed to attend.  Please do not arrive before 8:15 and sign in at the office tent at the entrance to the field to obtain a wrist band.  Remember:  No siblings are allowed during Field day for their safety and the safety of our students.  Please adhere to the Jefferson County Dress Code:  No Daisy Dukes or halter tops.  Apply sunscreen to your child before they leave the house that morning.  If you are eating lunch (chicken fingers) please let your teacher know ahead of time so they can include you in the count.  You will walk to the lunchroom and go through the line to get your lunch.  The cost is $4.50 for adults.  If you are checking out your child, you will do this at the office tent.  You will not be allowed to take your child from their teacher without the checkout slip.  Thank you for your patience and support as we try to make this a GREAT day for our students and keep them all safe!

TAG Auction is next week.  If you have a child in the TAG program, you should have received information home from Mrs. Chunn and Mrs. Cantley regarding the auction.

Kindergarten Graduation is May 21 at 12:00 in our gym.  Please do not bring balloons or signs for graduation.  You may check out your child after graduation.  It will not be counted against them.  Siblings of the Kindergarten students will be called to the gym before the program.

5th Grade Graduation is May 21 at 6:30 at Northpark Baptist Church.  Students should arrive by 6:15 and should meet with their teachers in the hallway.  Parents should go immediately to the worship center to allow the teachers to give instructions to the students.  There will be plenty of time for pictures after the program.  Students should wear Sunday casual dress.

5th-grade students remember that if you have not already, you will need to get a TDAP shot before entering middle school.  If you were accepted at JCIB for next year, I will forward your records.  You do not need to come and withdraw your students.  Also, our records will be forwarded to CCMS during the summer.
